Fees

While there is no tuition for the VCU Department of Periodontics graduate program, a $1,000 nonrefundable acceptance fee and signed contract is due upon verbal acceptance of a position in the program.

The student will be responsible for all fees associated with the program. Approximate fees include but may not be limited to the following: 

  • Physical diagnosis course – $1,500
  • Head and neck anatomy course– $400
  • ACLS – $150 (x2)
  • Digital intra-oral camera – $3,600
  • Clinic instrument fee-$400 per semester
  • Books – $500
  • Examinations – $330
  • Licenses – $100

Other fees may include registration and associated fees for required courses and meetings. . Fees are subject to change. 

A $50 application fee is required when applying for admission into the M.S.D. program. Students are responsible for all copying and miscellaneous expenses associated with the M.S.D.
