Residency program

The Department of Periodontics offers a 36-month advanced education comprehensive course of study in clinical and didactic periodontics. Students completing the program earn a certificate in Periodontology and a Master of Science in Dentistry degree. 

LEARN ABOUT GRADUATE PERIODONTICS

Fellowship

The VCU Periodontics and Implantology Fellowship is designed for non-US-trained dentists and provides a tailored didactic and clinical experience based on the individual fellow’s interest in the areas of advanced periodontics and oral implantology. Fellows will work closely with periodontal residents and knowledgeable faculty.
